	In the darkes hour through the surface of the mist crossed a shadow and the shadow was the eye. This existance is over but there are many more to become, in times of storm and war two were one to find the path, now the void left behind and within is never to be refield. Frozen tears break the earth sharp as daggers stabing the surface of the heart in black now bloodless and cold, stronger than stone. (Guitar solo: Hammer of the meek) So many battles we fought, so many victories we hailed and now just memories remain, so this is the end, the journey we travelled together has reached the end. With renewed forcess and a stronger conviction I will end my holocaustic mission.

This was originally released as a 7ep split with the french band Armaggedon through Chaos productions, but was also released in the same format through Undercover records. Later on the song appeared in the album "Never deny from the powers of sorcery" as a bonus track....

Bleak, dark atmosphere is created well, regardless of pace.IJsval almost sounds like a product of the 90s second wave scene that it’s so clearly enamoured with.Cold, icy melody seeps out of the music like a malignant entity, and combined with the abundant use of synths, makes for an engaging listen. I like the band’s use of dual vocals, with one set consisting of piercing screams, and the other adopting a more unhinged approach. The production is well-judged, balanced between clarity and rawness SANDRA.N.696
